Abstract (Max 200 words)
Purpose: To report a case of Limbal mass that was the initial manifestation of metastasis from undifferentiated carcinoma of parotid gland origin.
Methods: Case report
Results: A 56-year-old man without known systemic disease, developed simultaneously a limbal and parotid masses in his left side. He underwent excisional biopsy of limbal mass and subtotal parotidectomy and underwent systemic evaluation. Histopathologically, in multislice sections of the both limbal and parotidal masses disclosed an undifferentiated carcinoma of both site. Further evaluation revealed no other site of involvement and metastasis. The patient underwent systemic chemotherapy and local radiotherapy.
Conclusion: This is the first report of Limbal mass that was the initial manifestation of metastasis from undifferentiated carcinoma of parotid gland origin. It should be considered in the differential diagnosis of limbal masses.
